What made you do the internship for Jeff Ellis Management?
Sadey: After learning about the internship on the JEM website, I was extremely interested and wanted to learn more. I really wanted to travel and expand my knowledge and gain experience, and I felt like this was the perfect opportunity.
What were some of the projects you worked on throughout this program?
Sadey: During the program I worked alongside the other interns and developed a supervisor training program that will be used from now on to train the supervisors here in Hawaii.
How has JEM helped contribute to your career interests?
Sadey: It has expanded my knowledge of the industry and allowed me to have the opportunity to travel and experience new things. It has also given me insight on the different directions I could go within JEM.
What is your next step? Are you done at JEM? What will you be doing?
Sadey: My next step is going back to my facility in Ava, Missouri and being a seasonal manager/trainer while I continue my education. I hope to continue to grow with the JEM company and travel.
What would you tell someone who is thinking about applying for the internship program?
Sadey: Absolutely apply for the internship program. It is so rewarding and an experience that will leave a lasting impact on your life. Through the internship you will meet so many different people in the industry, make lasting memories and gain so much knowledge.
