I started back in the summer of 2013 in Houston, TX. I was brought on as a supervisor for the Mill’s Branch Pool.
Once the summer was over I was invited to become a lifeguard instructor, and had the privilege to learn from Kim Easley at Mickey’s Retreat.
There I learned the basics of instructing and how to make great lifeguards. Since then I’ve bounced around at almost every single JEM facility in the company, and made my way up the chain to even managing my own water park.
Now I call Sole Mia home. It’s a man-made, 6.9 acre, 14.5 million gallon lagoon in the heart of North Miami, FL.
We do everything under then sun to keep the lagoon clean and ready for the residents and their guests to use.
I’ve learned so much along the way and can’t thank the JEM family enough for the opportunities they have given me.
