Why Work With JEM

We’re more than just a job

You are never too old or young to start an amazing and impactful career with JEM. We offer a variety of ways to grow with us as your goals in life change.

Our team guides you every step of the way

With many individuals starting their first jobs with JEM, we make sure you are prepared to take on your new and impactful job.

After you successfully complete the interview process, you will be invited to attend free training to prepare you for your position. Upon completion, you will attend JEM orientation as well as facility-specific and on-the-job training.

Once you start working, we coach you along the way so you can excel on your own!

We work hard and PLAY HARD

Team outings are regularly organized to provide time for you and your fellow team members to bond and have fun – all free to you.

Throughout the year, company-wide competitions and giveaways are held to spark some extra excitement and opportunities for prizes!

WORK TRAVEL

If you are an employee in good standing, you may be asked to travel to some of our high-staff locations!

JEM’s partners are some of the best resorts and parks in the world. Without a doubt, these aquatic venues are oftentimes in beautiful locations. You traveling to and working at these locations can be as short as a few weeks or as long as a couple of months. (Time and accommodations may vary.)

Again, more opportunities for career growth, have fun, and see the world!

Gain skills that last a lifetime

As a lifeguard, you’ll be put through training until you are able to perform skills such as water rescues, CPR, First Aid, and more like second nature!

Even long after your time with us, you will still carry these skills with you for the rest of your life that could potentially save someone’s life one day.

Besides lifesaving skills, you acquire customer service, time management, guest relation skills, and more.

We have room for growth

Those who exhibit the skills and the passion for promotion are often trained to become leads, supervisors, and managers. For some, these are great promotions to have on a resume as you learn your way through school. For others, this becomes a longtime career.
